GEESE TIES OUT NOW

Turnford Geese ties are now in stock and available for purchase. Ties cost £10 and will be distributed on Sunday 12th February. If you haven’t paid for your tie yet, then bring your money along.

Turnford Geese winger and entrepreneur James Musk has expanded into the fresh meats market with his new “Musk’s Gluten Free Newmarket Sausages”. James is soon to be opening his brand new “Musk Kingdom” Restaurant alongside his chef Uncle Fernando (below-left), the inspiration behind the sausages.

Musk felt there was potential in “healthy” fast food and will also be providing his bangers to hot-dog vans and other outlets around the south-east. Turnford Geese cover-man Dave Perry (below-right) trialled the product and thinks they will be a popular alternative to other unhealthy fast-foods.

James spoke to Pino Packer about his latest business venture, “After producing my own fragrance I wanted to expand the Musk Empire. Me and my Uncle Fernando’s special recipe sausages will be the perfect addition and will soon dominate the market. My main ambition is winning the league for Turnford Geese though, all the lads want it so bad, we can do it.”

TURNFORD GEESE OR CHESHUNT ATHLETIC?

A win against bottom of the table A.S. Hoddesdon ‘04 will be good enough for Turnford Geese to gain promotion from Division 6. For a team in their first ever season, it will be a great accomplishment, but the Geese will be aiming for top spot. It looks like the title will be between the Geese and Cheshunt Athletic, who have four games in hand on the Geese, but still to play them twice. If Cheshunt Athletic win their other six league games and Turnford Geese win their two other league games, then the Geese will have to atleast beat them once and draw one too, providing their goal difference is greater. With few games to go, the climax of the season promises to be exciting, with the message to the Geese clear, win four games and you’ve won the league. 25.03.06
